If life was a song, it would be
a complicated melody.

My first half marathon taught me more than how to run a race

I have never been into running. In fact, I have never tried running even a full kilometer. Despite the hype and mutiple races, I have never been jealous of wanting to be part of it. I always thought running is too tiring until I found it fun. In Lexmark Dash this year where my love for running started, I signed up for 5km and for my first attempt, I ran it nonstop. It was as if the heaven opened and I heard angels singing. It came as a euphoria to know that I can achieve it. It was a slow pace but all I wanted was to complete it.

Tips on taking IELTS Exam

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam is taken to measure a person's English proficiency. I wish schools could have trained students for these type of exams and did mock tests. There is actually a good learning structure as foundation in writing a good essay. I wish I had that knowledge earlier.

In order to get your desired scores, I suggest to enroll in a review center that does one-on-one coaching. If you prefer to self-study, however, that can work too as there are several resources online that I found useful.

Giving birth soon? Sharing my list of Hospital Bag Essentials.

It's my 3rd child (Praise God!) and I have compiled this list and improved it over time. I think I quite get what are needed for the hospital bag. I am lucky to have a husband who likes being prepared. He keeps all our essentials in a medium-sized travel bag. Everything in the bag includes essentials for him, me, and the baby.
