Slurpee Craze, the 7-eleven way!

Yes, we are getting into the craze too!

7-11 opened at the new plaza place at Escario beside McDonald's. Oh boy, the line is long! I, too, am excited and curious what to expect of that cold icy drink that's making a fuzz in Cebu. For only Php23.00, you'd get a short cup of a Slurpee of your choice. I got the Strawberry-flavored soda, of course.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Tuesdays with Morrie is a story of how real-ilfe Professor Morrie Schwartz taught and changed the world until his last  breath. At an old age, Morrie fell into illness that attacks the neurological system of the body called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS. The author, Mitch Albom, describes the illness as melts your nerves and leaves your body a pile of wax. A person could be alive and breathing, probably can still blink, but can no longer move his body.

The first man in my life

This is a picture of my family when we were much younger. Yes, I was very cute back then. LOL My dad was very happy as I am his first child of 3 kids.

A good friend of mine asked about my father. He said he never heard me talk about him. Come to think of it, I never did. I don't know why. Probably there wasn't a need to. So this Father's day, I've decided to give my dad the attention he deserves.

Being great-fully grateful

Someone once told me that life is like a wheel. Probably much to the influence of a TV series, Gulong ng Palad. Worse, I used to believe it. I used to believe it for several years. When you're up, there's no other way but down. When you're down, there's no other way but up. So when good things happened to me, I'd get really scared. If I'm laughing too hard today. I'd worry what would happen to make me cry hard tomorrow. Somehow I just knew it would be bad. Yes, some of my worries do come true but 90% don't.

Social Isolation

iPhone is an everything phone and it is addicting. You can do so much with it. You can download apps for remembering password, play games, track your gas consumption, be online in social network sites, check emails - work and personal, and so many more. It was created to make us more productive and it did to me. I love it.
