Tired of the usual malling? Try a long drive. I discovered something cool in Dumaguete... Gabby's Bistro.

You can actually go to Dumaguete and still return on the same day. Yes, dumaguete is only approximately 2.5 hours drive away (140km) from Cebu central. When you reach Oslob, take the Maya Shipping roro ride for 30 minutes. Maya Shipping has trips every hour. A 30-minute ride... imagine that! You can't even finish watching a full movie. It's as if in no time, you are in another beautiful island called Dumaguete. :)

My curiosity was finally filled. With window glass just showing this, you would definitely be curious what's inside. Sunday 2pm has an odd name and a very unique ambiance for a public coffee and tea shop. It is like getting inside someone else's study room! The wall is either filled with book shelves full of books or plain wall full of post-its. I had so much fun reading the notes the guests before me wrote.

This has always been my aunt's pasalubong from Bohol whenever she goes there. Unfortunately, she's the only one who knows where to buy it. So I am very happy to see it finally here in Cebu. It is, however, placed in a much smaller container. Nevertheless, my smile reached ear to ear! :D Very happy indeed. Thank you Pan de Manila for bringing it here. :)

I have been ordering cakes from Lani M. Garcia for several years now. I like ordering from her because she is creative. Her cakes and cupcakes always look really beautiful and each order is always unique. Most especially, I like how her pastries are not overly priced. I also like that her place is very near from where I live. It's only at Lahug and very convenient (for me) for pick-up of my orders.
