A new food place has opened in town. This time, you don't need to go to Bacolod to taste the best chicken. The place is air-conditioned so you will be able to eat comfortably. Surprisingly, I left the restaurant without smelling like I came from a barbeque too.

There are only a few dining places that have delectable chicken wings that you would want to visit all the time. Southside Chicken is definitely one of them.  This place do not need any marketing advertisement. The place grew in popularity through word of mouth -- through testimonials. The restaurant is actually a portion of the owner's family home. Orders are cooked in their family kitchen. In Cebu, that is a common find. If you have a big unused space at home, you can use it for your business.

For my friend's birthday, we spent our weekend at Siri Yangu located at the wonderful province of San Remegio, Cebu. 

Siri Yangu is paradise. It has two big rooms where each room can accommodate at least 5 people. Everything is beautiful including the bathrooms. It has a natural feel around it. You can bring your own food with no corkage fee. The house has a stand-by Cook who can help you with food preparation. She cooks exemplary well. As of this writing, the rent amount is Php 15,000.00 per day. 

Ever since this product had been introduced to me two years ago, I've been an avid fan. Not everyone knows about these (products) so I'm sharing with you. You'd be as ecstatic as I am, for sure.

I was sharing on Facebook an article of Rappler about a mother who slapped her baby's face at the hospital. I captioned, "crazy mother!". I did not receive any response from friends except 2 days later when a friend commented that maybe we should understand more as the mother could be suffering from post-partum disease. He supported that others could even kill themselves or their child.

Bacolod is only a 45min-flight away from Cebu. For Cebuanos, we have no excuse of not ever setting foot there. Bacolod has the best places that give the most delicious sweet treats. Caleya, Kuppa, Bong-Bongs, Pendy's.. these are only to name a few. Delicacies are plenty too -- napoleones, piyaya, half moon, cheesecake, chocolate cake. They are the best! Other food to try are grilled chicken and kansi.

Butterbean is in its soft opening and is there for the lovers of sweet. The cafe is strategically located near the best restaurants in town. You may choose to dine at Quest's buffet, Parklane's buffet, Simply J's, Kuya J's, or Surfin' Ribs and then drive or walk to Butterbean for your dessert. My personal preference is Surfin' Ribs. That way, I don't have to drive or change parking space to get my dessert. Surfin' Ribs and Butterbean are in the same block. In fact, they're in the same building.
