seeking a thrill @ Cebu Zipline

With only 15-minute drive from JY Square, you can easily reach Cebu Zipline. I've tried ziplining, superman-style, during a visit at General Santos City but I've never done it in Cebu. I was pleasantly surprised that we have it here too. It's definitely something I would want to take my siblings and guests to experience.

I am not much of a thrill seeker but last weekend, I had all the guts in the world. I wasn't emotionally feeling very well. The slide through the line helped ease it up. I enjoyed it.

hospitals

Hospitals give me the creeps. I always believe (hope, could be a more appropriate word) that I have not developed the fear of hospitals but every time I get into a hospital, I suddenly feel all the feelings I felt when I was caring Nate. The hospital scent, scenes are all too familiar. I find myself depressing after. The memory of how I felt are still very fresh. I remember all the prayers I bombarded heaven with. I remember all the bargains. I remember every tear. I find it hard to shake it off.

Review: Tuslob Buwa experience @ Azul

I have only heard of Tuslob Buwa that's famous in Pasil and unique in Cebu during a visit to Misionaries of Charity. The idea is to cook pork brain and liver on a pan and wait for it to boil. Once it's boiling, dip your puso (hanging rice) on those bubbles for taste. Thus the name tuslob buwa or dip on the bubble. Tuslob Buwa is an economic way of eating because you only have to pay for your puso. In Cebu, you'll never get hungry!

Cordova Home Village

Is the beach too crowded for you? Are you looking for a nice summer getaway and still maintain that homey feel? Cordova Home Village is the right place for you. I came to know this wonderful place from a visiting cousin who just arrived from the US. Yeah, I know that did not sound right for someone in the US to introduce this to me, "the true blue Cebuano". Hehe But he did. The place was a wonderful surprise. It is unique and great for family or team bonding activities.

Free Diving @ Bohol

This weekend I officially kick-started summer with a trip to Bohol. Unlike any other trip, I haven't done my usual instense research of places to visit and where to stay. I came with friends and no questions. I came with the expectation that no matter what, I will enjoy the trip. I'm glad I did. The only down side I saw was how I packed. I had the biggest and heaviest bag in the group. It was kind of funny, actually. I was just glad I didn't pack my heels.

Review: Tokyo Table

Yesterday was another teambonding moment with my hardworking team. We have decided to eat lunch together at the newly opened City Times Square in Mandaue particularly the Tokyo Table. It has come highly recommended from friends who dined there during the weekend. True enough, we got out happy and satisfied. :)

Check out the food that are prepared on the table. These are only few of your sumptuous options. Drinks are also unlimited. Coolest! :)

entitlement...

What I appreciate most in the company that I work for is the culture. It does not have a sense of entitlement. I see the CEO and I call him on his first name. I see other companies and government agencies where employees call their bosses "Sir" or "Madam" or "Boss". There's nothing wrong with that, really, because it's a sign of respect.
